Earth Housing is a place to find information on companies who build them. It is a place to find an architect. It is a place to find a community of like minded people and it is a place to study components of building such as doors and windows and so on to the point of life.

It is the joy of a section that I work on as I can because it is one of my favorite sections especially the stories of those who have built their own place.

It is here I honor them and here I  request they feel an urgency to tell their story. You may like privacy so tell it and show pictures which crop out the background but tell it for the sake of history.

Few things are written in a way that shows us much of the history of earth sheltered homes. The fact is I have found few resources on them and it bothers me that many of the leaders who were involved have died and passed on to greater things.

The fact is we need history and we need important things that few have mentioned such as how was the roof support designed and the footings designed for the base of the home. What was your motivation and why was it built where you built it?

I am a man who knows we might be dealing with the children of the pioneers but they have old papers and papers are key to things regarding structure and stability tests and things that I do not have.

In fact if you have old things pass them on to me as I am one of the few out there who is seriously interested in this and I will make sure those things are kept and particularly read so they can be meaningful to others in the future of earth sheltered and domes and structures totally underground.
