Pulsar has created a breakthrough technology in the development of flashlamp photolytic oxidation for use in the disinfection or decontamination of water. This technology, known as PBUV (pulsed blackbody ultra-violet) is not only a breakthrough in the power of the dosimetry (50 - 500 times current methods) but it is also a breakthrough in terms of its cost effectiveness, reliability and ease of use in the processing of waters contaminated with organic compounds like MTBE, benzene, toluene and pathogenic organisms.
