Over the years I have tracked down many of the ideas and concepts that would be necessary for us to live
in an earth sheltered home. Can we prepare for the difficult or the impossible? Yes, by having fore-knowledge. Foreknowledge is what I call preparing ahead of time for what I believe is the
inevitable. Why? Because people are people and they chose pathways that are well worn.
Some of the best sections here are various types of energy. Energy is perhaps a key component for those
of us who live North of the Equator. During the winter the wind and temperature begin to plummet. Water freezes, snow falls, icy ways and streets all prove to be part of the problem of
keeping warm, keeping electricity flowing 24/7.
Then there are those of us who want to travel or need to survive away from the traditional home. You'll
find information on packs and tents, transportable power, hybrid vehicles, buying used and
finally one of my favorite sections is Sanctuaries. Here you'll find ancient methods of food storage and
shelter all the way up to military hideouts.
Finally you'll find a pot-purri of ideas including weather, communications, fire safety and literature,
publications and more. I hope this helps you in your journey and aids you in your own research.
